Our story
Tosolini Atelier @ All Right Reserved 2024
Tosolini Upholstery was founded more than forty years ago in Tricesimo, in the province of Udine, from a dream shared by my father and my grandfather. Two talented craftsmen who, with courage, decided to start their own business when my father was just eighteen years old.
In a small workshop, surrounded by fine fabrics, wood, and patience, they began creating unique pieces, letting the quality of their work speak for itself.
And so it happened: no advertising, no strategies, only word of mouth. Their skilled hands took them far, making them known throughout Italy and allowing them to work for some of the most demanding and prestigious clients. Every project was a challenge, every detail an opportunity to show what they did best: transforming raw materials into comfort, beauty, and harmony.
In the meantime, I arrived, growing up surrounded by the smell of fabrics, laughter in the workshop, and the sound of tools. In recent years, I began working alongside my father and grandfather, observing their mastery up close. Their work was extraordinary, true pieces of art — yet something was missing: a signature, an identity that could make them recognizable everywhere.
This is how Tosolini Atelier was born.
An international name to give voice to our craft, to show the world what had remained “behind the scenes” for decades, and to celebrate a tradition that deserves to be seen and remembered.
Today, Tosolini Atelier represents the natural evolution of our upholstery: the same craftsmanship as always, but with a fresh vision. We create fully custom-made sofas, armchairs, and poufs, 100% personalized, made with premium materials and meticulous attention to detail. Each product is designed to last, to welcome, and to make a house truly your own.
After forty years, our goal is simple:
to bring the beauty and comfort of authentic Made in Italy into the world, signed by those who create it with their own hands.
Sincerely,
Filippo Tosolini
